The DK Climb to the Top Challenge

Just how high can Nintendo’s most famous ape go? Create your own crazy-cool image of Donkey Kong® at his climbing best and you could win your very own Nintendo DS™ Lite, plus a copy of the brand new DK Jungle Climber!

Nintendo and SmugMug.com are inviting fans of all stripes to submit creative and unique images of Donkey Kong climbing to the top of the coolest or most unusual places — from mountains to buildings to otherworldly monuments. Whether you’re drawing and scanning an original picture or digitally altering an existing one, the sky’s the limit … or is it? Whatever the setting might be, just make sure to format your image as a JPEG [no larger than 12MB] and feature the high-climbing Donkey Kong in “peak” form.

DK Jungle Climber for Nintendo DS is the latest Donkey Kong title from Nintendo, presenting the iconic ape and his kooky Kong entourage in an all-new hand-held adventure. With its simple three-button control scheme, players of any skill level can climb right into the action, thwarting the evil King K. Rool™ in his quest to steal the powerful Crystal Bananas and conquer the universe. Swing solo or use the wireless features of the DS to battle friends in one of the game’s fun multiplayer challenges.

Entries in the DK Climb to the Top Challenge must be received no later than Oct. 1.

Each of the top eight entries will receive a Nintendo DS Lite and a copy of DK Jungle Climber.
